Tunami Nigo
Tunami Nigo may be used both as a speaker cable and a power cable. Its construction is identical to the Tunami Power cable but without the ground conductor. It posesses a clear, bold and beautiful sound with an extremely low noise floor.

 

PCOCC-A

This is an ultra pure single crystal copper originally developed by Professor Ohno. Its further evolution has yielded the PCOCC version or single crystal wire. This design results in an extremely low level of signal disturbance and loss due to the lack of crystalline borders in the signal path. We have further evolved this technology with a highly controlled heating and cooling process and improved surface management to realize a mirror finish. It is now called PCOCC-A and represents the epitome of Japanese craftsmanship.

 
INSULATOR

It is our philosophy at Oyaide to try every possibility until we achieve the best harmony of materials. We researched various levels of hardness and densities of insulation materials to determine which provided the most ideal resonance control. The result was the use of varying grades of high polymer polyolefin in the internal structure for maximum effect.
 

3-LAYER SHIELDING

It is a fundamental requirement for cables to be protected from external noise.The speaker cable transmits signal at a comparatively high level and may generate electromagnetic fields that interfere with the audio cable etc. The 3-layer shielding of TUNAMI NIGO shuts out externally and internally generated noise: The first layer absorbs the disorders of electro magnetic field formation; a second carbon layer is used to absorb the random movement of electrons from current fluctuation stored in the insulating materials and a final third copper foil layer with a drain wire is added to protect from external noise sources. The Drain wire is then connected to ground for perfect shielding
